Through Sawyan, partners hope to develop local capacity and participatory approaches to community challenges faced by conflict-affected people in the region.  With this new capacity and networks of community-based organizations, local communities will be better able to manage their organisations, assess the needs of their stakeholders and implement projects that have a meaningful impact on the lives of the people they support.
