Kids Paradise is pleased to launch its new project, which is titled:
“Empowerment of Civil Society” (Sawyan) in Idleb Governorate, funded by the European Commission in partnership with Ai.Bi. organization.
The project aims to build the capacity of the administrations and employees in 51 Syrian civil society grassroots organizations and voluntary youth and women teams to be able to comprehensively assess the needs of society, plan and respond to them with a participatory approach based on transparency and accountability that allows all segments of society to participate in all stages humanitarian response and development and the opening of communication channels that contribute to enhancing trust and cooperation between grassroots organizations and voluntary initiatives on the one hand, and between civil society leaders, humanitarian actors and influencers on the other hand, in addition to providing a limited number of small grants in the last half of the project.
Project duration: 18 months (1-2-2022 until 31-7-2023).
The location of implementation: Syria – Idleb Governorate
Sub-districts (Maaret Tamsrin – Harim – Dana – Salqin – Kafr Takharim – Idleb – Ariha –
Jisr Al-Shughur).
Beneficiaries of the project:
1- Grassroots Syrian civil society organizations.
2- Youth and women’s volunteer teams and initiatives.
3- Civil society leaders, influencers and activists in the humanitarian field.
